Trattoria-Pizzeria Martinello in Scharbeutz

Any bad reviews are out of place here. I myself have been to the Martinello countless times and every time I was completely enthusiastic. The pizza and pasta, which are always freshly and lovingly prepared by the Italian chef, deserve a very special award.

We are always so happy with you, because you are always welcomed nicely and get delicious fresh ingredients on the pizza. I especially love the cheese cream sauce from Angelo :))) even now you try so hard not to lose your quality - you didn't want to deliver outside your home because the pizza through the box is of course not as fresh as in the restaurant that should be clear to everyone, but you just make the best of it and that's why you just have to praise yourself for it :) everyone and you do your best, thank you very much. We were there and can totally recommend it. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. The pasta was spot on and extra requests were taken into account. We also liked the dessert. The ambience is wonderful. The restaurant is very small and really nicely furnished and decorated, which creates a romantic / cozy atmosphere. A few days later we ordered another pizza to be picked up, everything went smoothly here too. In terms of taste, this was also good, but anyone who likes "American pizza" (thick base & lots of topping) will be disappointed here. It really is a classic Italian pizza.

Best pizzeria ever! The pizza is so delicious! The waiters told us that people are complaining that the pizza is too thin and crispy. But that's exactly how it should be - at least one of the best pizzas ever! I was NOT paid to provide this feedback

Unbelievable, wanted to order something to take away today and went to the store to do it ... When I went to the store, I was greeted warmly at first, but the waitress had to ask twice at my special request, which is not bad, but the answers from a very grim man in the kitchen scared me off. When I left again I was told that it would be better if I go now ... I may have unconsciously insulted some honor with corn and cheese in the margin, but a simple "No, unfortunately we didn't" would have enough ... so I went to the next Italian restaurant.

We were given a very warm welcome and shown to our table. Because of the corona conditions, there were transparent stands between the tables, which are a bit wobbly. Otherwise they are not noticeable. We started with bruschetta, which consists of four slices of bread - so it's very easy to share. Then there was pizza, for me the pizza Martinello without olives. Fresh big champions on prosciutto and a delicious salami. The floor is thin and crispy like in Italy. Delicious. At the end there was tiramisu, absolutely delicious and in combination with the espresso is not heavy on the stomach. In summary, if you are looking for a bit of Italian feeling and real pizza, you should stop by here. Reservations also went really well via the chat here on Google Maps. Today wanted to reserve a table for me on the terrace. I was told that no reservations would be made for the terrace. Then I went there spontaneously. Could see from my accommodation that there is still space on the terrace. I arrived happy ... ... and got a rebuff 🙅‍♀️. They were full. The Greek up the street was more than a good substitute. I was given a friendly welcome.

We had a wonderful evening in the pizzeria. The food was very tasty. All special requests were implemented spontaneously. The service was nice and friendly and gave tips on Italian cuisine - now we finally know how to drink Sambuca properly.

I can't understand the bad reviews on the pizza. We have already been to Italy and ate there in the oldest pizzeria in the world. The pizza here comes very close to this. The pizza is nice and thin from the dough and not too overloaded with cheese that you can't taste anything else. If you want to eat a pizza like in Italy, this is definitely the right place. We would definitely have a pizza here again !!!

We went there tonight and had two pizzas and the pasta with truffle. Everything was excellent. At the end there was the homemade tiramisu and panna cotta. It was a dream! We will definitely come back before we go home.

A very nice restaurant with a family atmosphere. At the moment only outside but always worth a visit. The pizza is delicious with a thin base and the homemade tiramisu is a dream. Since there is always too much alcohol in other tiramisus, this was perfect.

Bruschetta perfect as you wish, the pasta with chanterelles excellent. The cappuccino and tiramisu afterwards left nothing to be desired. Service very warm and courteous. We will be back definitely

We didn't get in with 2 people because there was supposedly no free space. Behind us there was immediately space for 4 people who had NOT reserved. As always, it's all about the money. Cheek. We might have left more money with 2 people than others with 4 people. Addendum to the answer Nobody offered me to call me when there were free places for 2, which clearly shows that other 2-person guests were also sent away. When exactly should the time be? 22 O `clock? Corona time is difficult for everyone. On your part, the opening times could be reconsidered. If couples were sent away everywhere, nobody would be helped.

Delicious I had a vegetaria pizza and it was very full. Tasted great, fresh vegetables and good ingredients. My husband had the pizza parma. It was also very well filled (a lot of Parma) and tasted very tasty. Gladly again on your next visit to the Baltic Sea. P.S. They were very nice too ☺️

We got pizza twice on vacation and were very satisfied. This is how a pizza should be, wafer-thin and not saturated with fat and cheese. Delicious!!!

We went there for dinner a couple of weeks ago. The pizza was okay, but my friends ordered pasta and the plate was rather empty. This pizzeria is not even right on the beach and charges prices that are not at all justified. Staff - rude. Please try not to deny my criticism - as with everyone else ... Conclusion: not recommended.

The best pizza we've ever eaten! Very lovable and friendly owners. Will definitely come back when we are around. If you want to eat a real Italian pizza, you've come to the right place! The perfect pizza for a nice evening at the beach. ❤️🇮🇹

Last night we were with four people (2 adults, 2 children) in their restaurant. This wasn't our first visit either. We can only rate positively. After we asked for a table at 19:00 and there was no table available at the time, we received a very friendly call for 30 minutes and a table was assigned to us. The very friendly service took excellent care of us. The pizza was great, crispy and freshly topped! I absolutely cannot understand the bad reviews and can only recommend the trattoria. We would love to come back on our next vacation!

Not recommended. Unfriendly staff and you don't feel comfortable. The food is okay, but not worth five stars either. If you want a nice evening, then you better look for another place.

Great pizza and great food. The chef cooks himself with love and passion. His wife throws the service friendly with a Berlin snout. Great alternative to the front row. We would love to come back. Greetings from Frankfurt
